Altar Call Ministry cares about your privacy. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to your information when you visit this website. Altar Call Ministry is the “data controller” for this site — which simply means we’re the ones responsible for looking after your information.
This site sets no cookies of our own and uses no analytics and no advertising or third-party trackers. We don’t build a profile of you or follow you around the web. Even our fonts are hosted on our own site, so simply visiting doesn’t share your details with any outside company. The one exception is the embedded video, explained below.
Our homepage includes one video embedded from YouTube. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com), and the player isn’t even loaded until you scroll near it — so if you never reach that part of the page, YouTube is never contacted. If you do scroll to it and the video plays, YouTube (part of Google) will process technical information such as your IP address and may set cookies of its own, under Google’s privacy policy. We don’t receive any of that information ourselves.
If you fill in our contact form, we collect your name and email address, and — only if you choose to give them — your phone number and a message. We use these details for one thing: to reply to you personally about Altar Call. We never sell them, we never add you to marketing lists, and we don’t share them with anyone outside the ministry.
Why we’re allowed to hold this: we rely on your consent (you choose to send us your details) and on our genuine interest in responding to your enquiry. If you share something personal in your message — a prayer need, for example — we treat it with care and use it only to help and reply to you.
This form is meant for adults. If you’re under 16, please ask a parent or guardian before sending us your details.
We keep your details only as long as we reasonably need them to respond and to stay in touch about your enquiry, and then we delete them. You can ask us at any time to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it — just email us and we’ll sort it out.
If you’re ever unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you also have the right to complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We’d be grateful for the chance to put things right first, but the choice is yours.
Our website is hosted by Netlify, which — like any web host — processes basic technical information such as your IP address in order to deliver the page to you securely, and which receives your contact-form message on the way to us. Netlify is based in the United States, so some of your information may be processed outside the UK. Where that happens, it’s covered by the safeguards Netlify has in place for international data transfers.
